Dear Members,
We are excited to announce an upcoming Fall Protection class scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the Crater Lake JATC. The session will commence promptly at 8:00 AM and will be instructed by Vaughn Pugh.
This course aims to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the OSHA and OROSHA Fall Protection regulations, particularly tailored for the construction industry. Upon successful completion of the course, attendees will be awarded a certificate with no expiration date. The topics covered in the class include:
- The Role of the Competent Person
- Trigger heights that prompt the use of fall protection
- Options available to protect workers from falls
- Differences between fall arrest and fall restraint
- Inspection Procedures of equipment
- The Fall Protection Work Plan
- The role of the safety monitor system
- Wall opening and handrails
- Ladder usage
This is an excellent opportunity for our team to enhance their knowledge and ensure compliance with safety regulations crucial in our line of work.
